| Dr. Christina Mentes | |||||||||||||||||
| Dr. Mentes attended Tennessee State University and was granted a Biomedical Research Scholarship thru the National Institute of Health (NIH-MBRS). During her training, she completed two years of practicum at Vanderbilt University and an internship at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition, she conducted health disparities and psychological research, presenting findings at conferences throughout the United States and Pueto Rico, publishing papers in well established journals. Much of her research was dedicated to working with underserved minority populations through Tennessee State University and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Mentes spent five years providing therapy for parents, children and adolescents. Her next four years were devoted to therapy with university and adult populations. |

| Dr. Mentes has a current practice focused on helping individuals with depression, anxiety, sexuality concerns, family of origin issues, adjustment issues, multicultural concerns, and abuse issues.
