Santa Barbara Therapist
            THERAPIST INFORMATION

As a practitioner trained in both clinical and counseling psychology, I work with individuals to help them explore the origins of their symptoms, while at the same time teaching them skills to reduce distress and cope better in everyday life. I specialize in working with couples and individuals ages 18 to adult who struggle with depression, anxiety, abuse issues, family of origin issues, current relationship issues, and sexuality concerns. In addition, I specialize  in working with diversity issues.

Currently, I serve as the President Elect on the
Santa Barbara County Psychological Association Board and will be happy to assist you in finding appropriate therapist referrals for mental health concerns outside the scope of my practice. I am an Adjunct Faculty at Santa Barbara Graduate Institute and Antioch University and serve as Core Faculty in the  Master's Counseling Psychology program at  Pacifica Graduate Institute.  In addition, I serve at the Student Services Coordinator for Pacifica Graduate Institute and have been appointed the Warsh Chair of Social Justice, Reconciliation, and Diversity.
